Chief Executive at Institute of Hospitality

Peter Ducker

Peter’s entire professional career has been in hospitality. After studying hotel management at Oxford Polytechnic (now Oxford Brookes University), and specialising in Sales, Marketing and Distribution, he served on the boards of both private and public hospitality businesses before launching his own hotel booking company.

After successfully selling his company, he became a marketing and distribution consultant for hoteliers before being appointed Chief Executive of the Institute ofHospitality in 2013. He has been a member of the Institute throughout his career, and in April 2016 he was awarded with the ‘Major Contribution to Hospitality Award’ from the Bacchus Alumni Awards 2016, by the Oxford Brookes University.

CEO, Tenzo

Christian Mouysset

After graduating from Cambridge with a degree in computer science, Christian founded Hummus Bros, his chain of quick-service restaurants inspired by the ancient cuisine of the Levant, and grew it rapidly to six sites serving over 12,000 meals a week.

Over the past three years, he has combined his computer science expertise and years of food retail experience to co-found and run Tenzo, a cutting edge restaurant analytics company. The Tenzo platform gives large and multi-site restaurants a much-improved ability to get to the insights and recommendations that will drive top-line growth and optimize costs. It also forecasts sales using machine learning, allowing restaurants to drastically reduce food waste.

Jill is an award-winning Director with a strong bias for growth and commercial success in unreliable market conditions. She has had a varied career, including experience in the not-for-profit and private sectors, and for the last 20 years has worked in the adult education sector specialising in apprenticeships and skills.

In 2006, Jill co-founded HIT Training Ltd together with colleagues from a previous company; HIT now employs over 500 people and supports over 10,000 apprentices and 3,000 employers a year. HIT Training is listed in the Times Best Companies to Work For.

On a personal level, Jill was named Institute of Directors' Director of the Year for the SouthEast & London and is listed in the Shine Awards 100 Most Influential Women in Hospitality. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce in recognition of her achievements in the fields of social progress and development, as well as being a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality.
